Animal Abandonment and Overpopulation

                            Animal Abandonment and Overpopulation

Animals die everyday because of animal abandonment and overpopulation. There are many ways why animal abandonment and overpopulation is not good. For example, overpopulation, because of not spaying and neutering, abandonment, because of overpopulation. There are also many ways to stop it. Also for example, Don’t abandon animals, and always spay and neuter pets (unless certified breeder).
This is why animal abandonment and overpopulation is bad. Animals die because they are being abandoned and overpopulating. They are overpopulating because they aren't getting spay and neutered. AHA says, “Animals die because there are more of them than responsible homes”, -AHA (American Humane Association). This proves that animals die because of abandonment and that they are overpopulating. So, animal abandonment makes overpopulation worse, and overpopulation is making it harder for animals to get homes. This problem is getting worse and worse.
These are some solutions for animal overpopulation and abandonment. Spay and neuter  pets and never abandon animals. Also, a big help would be to help find animals homes. So in AHA’s words, “Always spay and neuter pets, always make a lifetime commitment to to your pets, and educate others about pet overpopulation and the importance of spaying and neutering”, -AHA. This is important because it shows that there are solutions to help stop animal abandonment and overpopulation.
A few more reasons why you shouldn't abandon animals is because those animals may die without a home and they may start to reproduce. AHA explains, “Studies suggests that 7-20 percent of pets are no longer in the same home, six months after acquisition. These animals often die or end up at shelters, contributing to the pet overpopulation issue”, -AHA. This shows that animals do die because of abandonment and overpopulation and why you shouldn't abandon animals, because it only makes this problem worse.
In conclusion, abandonment and overpopulation is a problem, but there are solutions, and you never abandon animals. That is the problems and solutions of animal abandonment and overpopulation, and why you shouldn't abandon animals. So, animal abandonment and overpopulation is very bad and why everyone should try to help stop this problem.
