Bullying
Bullying is harmful because it causes people to have a negative self image, avoid school and they could hurt others. This can be solved by smarter school anti-bullying rules. In extreme cases of bullying children don’t always tell adults about the bullying that is happening, and they can’t cope with the stress.
Next, Bullying has a few endings. A teacher or trusted adult can help by becoming involved,contemplating suicide, and sometimes they actually do commit suicide, Like Alex Libby. For example, in the article it says,” Alex Libby’s life has changed science he featured in the hit anti-bullying documentary Bully.” Alex was, “ Strangled, attacked, called names and, harassed!” Those are only some of the reasons that Alex Libby tried to commit suicide. This is important because suicide can make families sad about their loss, it also affects their friends and others around them. -(YouTube 2012)
Moving on, bullies threatened to break Alex’s bones and sexually assault him. Making him feel like he didn’t want to go to school. In the article it states, “that Alex is happy with his new school because he moved -(Rand 2012) The bullies is Iowa called Alex fish face. They threatened to break his bones, sexually assault him and kill him! -(Rand 2012) This is important because it could hurt Alex both physically and mentally. Physically because it could just hurt him in general. But mentally is that he just keeps thinking and thinking about it and it just totally messes up his life.
Next, Casey hines was brave because, he dealt with bullying all of his life. The bullies called him fatty and told him to lose some weight. But one day he stood up for himself when he was repeatedly attacked by a bully. His father was horrified about the fight between Casey and his bully. -(YouTube) This is important because the father was worried that Casey could have been hurt or seriously injured the other student.

Child labor and child slavery
Do you think that child labor and child slavery is good or bad because I think it’s bad for my reasons in my next sentence.Child labor and child slavery is not proper because it’s affecting people, because it’s bad, and most of all because we should free slaves not make them work. How do you feel about child labor and child slavery do you feel good or sad.
First, child labor is affecting people by making them lazy if they have the slaves, or making people get worried about their own children and what it would be like if their own children were slaves. Iqbal Masih said, “ children should have pens in their hands not tools” . This is important because Iqbal gave his life to his beliefs. Iqbal had died at the age of “12” but got shot at the age of “10”. Iqbal was also saying that because at “4” years old his parents sold him to be a slave because they had a debt to pay. In conclusion, child labor is affecting people for those reasons.
Next, child slavery is bad because kids should be learning how to read, write, solve math equations, and science. No matter what people still try and stop unequal rights and make them equal rights. “ we were all given the same rights just by being born on this planet”, said Rachel. The free the beauty 5k run in California two girls Rachel and Sage raised $6,000 to free girls in Africa who mine the very sparkles in girls makeup. In conclusion, child slavery is bad because kids should be learning not getting dirty and sweaty
Then, people should be freeing child slaves not making them do work because it just makes you get Lazy. “ children are our future and by not letting them learn educational work they will have a bad impact in the future. So without the education they need they will lead the world with a devastating effect.” , quoted Iqbal Masih. My evidence is true because if children don’t have an education then how will the world have a good law,or government. Education is so important that kids might not understand but it will help the world a whole lot more than without it. In conclusion, people should free child slaves not make them work because how will the world be in the future when children today are adults in the future how will the government be then consider my work as a reason you should free child slaves and stop child labor.
In conclusion, how do you feel about child labor and child slavery now that you just read my reasons why they are both bad. Child labor and child slavery isn’t proper because it’s affecting people, because it truly is bad, and most of all because we should help free child slaves and not make them work. Imagine sewing carpets all your life, with no food nor water. Children need to be able to go to school like everyone else. Child labor/Slavery is unneeded because they don’t let children have breaks while sewing, the children don’t get food or water, most of all because the children get beaten for making a mistake.
Children in child labor don’t get any breaks while sewing carpets for stores or other community services. All they do is sew all day, so imagine how unhealthy they must be because they never get to exercise or go outside. The article states, “The majority of children in child labor perform unpaid family work”. (10 child labor facts, Matt Berg). Children are sewing or working everyday nonstop and don’t get paid no matter what they do. Imagine working at a job that you don’t get paid at. The video quotes, “When in child labor, they were always working and got no breaks”. (Youtube:Freedom Hero/Iqbal Masih). This states that life in America is very different than life in child slavery. Living your life in child labor is very difficult.
Unlike you who gets food everyday, children in child slavery don’t get any food or water so that they can keep their fingers small, so they are able to sew. If you get hungry an hour after you eat, then imagine how the children feel not being able to eat at all. The film states, “Children in Pakistan, in child labor, do not get food or water to keep their fingers small”. (Youtube:Freedom Hero/Iqbal Masih). A lot of children can die from child labor, because their bodies are not healthily treated. Kids should not be dieing this young and deserve to be healthy. The text states, “According to the ILO, 168 million children worldwide are engaged in child labor as of 2013”. (10 child labor facts, Matt Berg). This means that 168 million children are unhealthy because they starve all the time and are never hydrated. These children deserve to be healthy and live a good life.
Instead of being sent to the corner when making a mistake, in child labor you were beaten or put into a torture chamber. They get beaten for even making a tiny mistake. The video states, “If children made a mistake, while making carpets, they were beaten or put into a torture chamber”. (Youtube:Freedom Hero/Iqbal Masih). They are basically teaching the kids that it is not okay to make any mistakes in life. That everything should be perfect the first time you try to do or make something. The article states, “Carpet dealers have lost more sales because of the killing of Iqbal Masih”. (Kathy Gannon, May 31, 1995). Since shoppers know that kids are getting harmed from child labor, such as Iqbal, they are not buying the carpets anymore. Children should not have to do jobs that an adult should be doing, for example sewing carpets.
Child labor/slavery is a cruel and horrible way to treat children. Child slavery gives kids less of an advantage to have a good life. All of slavery involved with children should be stopped and kids should be free to get an education. They should go to school. Be taught by teachers and learn and be able to make mistakes without being beaten. Child labor/slavery is a system that should be banned.

Animal Abuse
There are a lot of people that own pets but aren't nice to them and probably shouldn't own them. There are three different types,the first is animal abandonment, the second is animal shelters and the final one is abuse. All three of these types of abuse lead to lots of animals either getting severely injured or killed.
First is animal abandonment and it becoming more common and harder to figure out who did it, “I wanted my generation to not see their pets as disposable”. -Wegner. This is important because some people think of there animals as only toys or things that don't matter, but they do. A animal can be your best friend if you are nice to them and don't abandon them. There are people that are standing up for them and trying to speak up about the abandonment issues. Every animal deserves a good home with people that will be kind to them not someone who will get rid of them the first chance they get.
Next is the animal shelters. Animal shelters are starting to grow more common for not treating their animals properly and some of the animals end up dieing, “I always thought it was hypocritical for animal shelters to say that they save animals lives, only to kill them”.-Westland This is important because some of the shelters don't take care of the dogs as well so they might become more vicious to other people cause they think the people will hurt them so they become harder to control.
Finally is animal abuse. Animal abuse is sadly becoming even more popular than abandonment. People are getting mad at there animals and taking it out on the animals instead of doing something else like putting them up for adoption so they might be able to find a new or better home, “Animal welfare is a great passion of mine and many others as well. This is one way I can be there voice”. -Westland. This is important because Westland has probably seen this abuse happen and chose to speak up about it instead of letting it happen. He is speaking up for the animals and trying to help them find better families and let them know what is going on so they might be able to help fight against animal abuse.
In conclusion it is really important that people don't abandon their animals, the shelters don't hurt them, and everyone doesn't abuse them. If we keep doing this though and don't stop the animals will run away and go off on their own leaving you alone.
